When Lara and Dustin first walked into Prestige Ballroom in June 2015, they had little previous dance experience and less than two months before their July 24th Wedding. Fortunately, the couple was placed with skilled Instructor Mary. When Mary asked Lara and Dustin how they envisioned their ideal first dance, the couple said they would like a romantic and picturesque routine. The duo also mentioned that they wanted to have better memories from their first dance as husband and wife other than “swaying around” on the dance floor.
After gathering this information, Mary worked with Lara and Dustin to create an elegant Foxtrot routine. This kind-hearted pair enjoyed ten lessons at Prestige Ballroom before they flew to from St. Louis to Connecticut where they would become husband and wife surrounded by their loved ones.
“Mary, when we first came into Prestige, we didn’t know what to expect or anything about ballroom. Through our 10 lessons we have gained a lot of knowledge and had fun. We loved your energy and upbeat attitude every lesson – not to mention all the high fives we earned! We are going to miss you during our finale and will have to imagine you are our photographer that night! Thank you for all your help and belief that we can do our foxtrot!!” – Lara and Dustin
Lara and Dustin tied the knot on July 24, 2015 in Connecticut. They shared their first dance to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra. Congratulations and Best Wishes!
