Lots of people get the “wedding jitters” and are scared with the idea of a spotlight on them especially if they have to dance. While stage fright is totally normal, you shouldn’t spend your wedding day worrying about dancing. A wedding is a day full of love, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. Taking dance lessons is a great way to allow every moment of the day to be enjoyable–including dancing in front of friends and family. We recently received a letter full of thanks and appreciation for battling those scary wedding jitter monsters back under the bed. We want to share a few quotes from this heart-filled thank you:
“Thank you so much for guiding me in learning dancing and especially thank you for preparing me for the father daughter dance…I use to have a dreadful fear of dancing.”
“I will not always remember all the details you taught me….but my memories of your abundant kindness and unwavering patience will never fade.”
“I stumbled across the best ballroom studio in St. Louis!”
There is so much more to dancing than simply understanding where to put your feet. Our approach is that learning to dance teaches you to trust and smile and provides a place of comfort. Included with these wonderful words of wisdom, was a beautiful gift pictured below.
So whether you are preparing for your first dance, a father-daughter dance, showing off the whole night at your reception, or any other great reason to dance, we welcome you. If a picture is worth 1000 words, imagine what an entire dance with another rocking in your arms will mean. So kick those wedding jitters in the butt and come in to Prestige Ballroom!
